Thank You Letter for Worst Gift

Dear Santa,
I guess I should say thank you for the life size spiderman doll because it was the present that I opened on Christmas morning but thanks also for the Polly Pocket Dream Hotel. You sure had me scared when I saw it. The first thought that crossed my mind was, was I really this naughty? It was very unexpected but I guess that I could have dressed him up in my doll clothes and her could have came to my tea parties. I was relieved to know it wasn't mine. You sure do have a sense of humor don't you? When I see him in Stefan's room I will laugh a little and think of you adn that unexpected chsitmas morning.
Until next year,

Worst Christmas Present

Sunlight bounced of the fresh fallen snow, casting a bright ray of light across my eyelids. "Uhhhh" I moaned, rolling over, practically falling of my bed. "Pstttt, Cia, Wake Up", I heard a faint whisper coming from my bedroom doorway but i refused to wake from my dream so i pushed the small noise to the back of my head. Maybe if I pretend not to hear her she will go away? The thought passed through my mind. Still as stone I layed there not moving a muscle. Just as I thought I had fooled her, Wham, a small hand slapped my back sending a pain straight up my spine. "What was that for!" I yelled, holding onto my aching back." A bright eyed, toothless three year old stared back at me, "Santa came, Santa came and he brought you the biggest gift!" she merrily screeched bouncing up and down. Of course she had already been down stairs and sussed out the whole gist situation. She grabbed my hand and yanked me out of my bed and down the stairs.

As old as you get there is always this little rush when you first see the wrapped goodies under the tree. Adrenaline rushing, I sprinted to the nearest gift and looked at the tag, to molly from Santa. Darn. "This one is yours!" Molly said pointing to the largest gist in the room. My eyes went from the ceiling to the ground and a smile formed across my face. Just to make sure I wasn't dreaming I checked the tag, to Ciara from Santa. Yes! Without hesittaion my little hands were fast at work, ripping and tearing the paper off the box. What I saw next did not please me. The wonderful gift that I had thought was for me was nothing else but a life size spiderman. I stood there for a second taking it in. There had to be some mistake. I had asked for a Polly Pocket dream hotel not a giant superhero doll. The only thing that I could think of was that there had been some mistake at the North Pole. Sana must have accidentally given me someone elses gift. Well I thought this until my brother came storming down the stairs and took one look at the Spiderman and screamed. "Yes! The limited edition Spiderman doll I have been waiting for all year!". What? Him? But? The tag? I mean? I guess it all made sense but still I always remind Santa...but the right tags on the right gifts. To this day when I tell Santa what I want I always include on my list "Dear Santa, First of all I do not want a life size spider man for christmas"

Book Blog!

I read the book L.A Candy by Lauren Conrad. Despite what people may think about Lauren Conrad the book is not written how one would expect. It takes place in modern day Los Angles with Jane Roberts, the blond, sweet girl next door and Scarlett Harp, the beautiful one who if you cross her path, you better run. When out partying one night they are recruited for a new reality TV show, L.A Candy. When the show becomes a hit Jane and Scarlet's lives begin to fall apart.

One thing I really liked about L.A. Candy is how it gave you a look into the fabulous lives in L.A. It took you behind the scenes of the show and into the drama. There was never a dull moment in the book.

Although the book was exciting it was not the best writing I have ever read. Several times in the book I could have thought of a better word to use. Also, the book was slow in the beginning and ended abruptly with a cliffhanger. But no worries there are two more books to complete the series and answer all readers questions.

The target audience for his book would definitely be girls. The main characters are girls, the "show" that they are part of in the book is for girls, the drama is all about girls. It is overall just a girl book. Some guys might like it if they are into fashion, drama and reality TV.

I give L.A Candy  three stars.

Other good videos

Another good video was Thalia's (sorry if it's spelt wrong). I liked it because it showed a lot of the behind the scenes footage of the restaurant and not a lot of people did that. Even though you couldn't hear the guy talking very well in some parts I still really liked it.

Other Good Videos

Another good video was Allie's. I liked how hers had a lot of video footage of the actual theater. It made you feel like you were walking into the actual theatre when she showed the clip of her walking through the doors. Her interview was good as well.

My Other Favorite Video

Another good video was Xan's. He did the big bang comics store in Sewickley. One thing he did well in his video is that he used a voice over as he walked the camera through the store. This technique keeps the viewer interested while learning about something. It was also funny when he did his interview with his brother. Overall, it was a really good video.

My Favorite Video

My favorite video was Teresa Reiter's. She did the Pittsburgh Zoo. Her video was really cute and it made me want to go to the zoo. One good thing about her video was that it wasn't boring and it kept the audiences attention. I also really liked the music. Overall, it was a really cute video.

Is Sucker damaged goods?

No, Sucker is not damaged goods because when implying that someone is damaged goods you are saying that they look good on the outside but are troubled on the inside. The story describes Sucker as a scraggly kid who is kind of awkward and doesn’t have any friends. Just by looking at Sucker you could probably tell that he was troubled by the way he acted. He also has many scratches and bruises because he does anything that Pete tells him to do such as jump off a garage. So Sucker is damaged on the outside and the inside.

100 Word Summary of Sucker

The story Sucker takes place in your average American town where the main character Pete, a love sick high school student, lives with his younger cousin Sucker. We’ve all heard our parents say “would you jump off a bridge if your friend did?” Well in this case if Pete told Sucker to jump off a bridge Sucker would actually do it. In the beginning of the story Pete is hostile towards Sucker but that all changes when Maybelle, who is in the prettiest girl in the school in Pete’s opinion, starts to give Pete the time of day. As Pete and Maybelles relationship begins to grow, so does Pete and Suckers. They begin to talk more and Pete even gives him some of his valuable possessions. One day after Maybelle has been ignoring Pete, Sucker tries to ask him something and Pete blows up. He yells insult after insult and Sucker just sits there. That turns out to be the last time Pete and Sucker talk for a while because Sucker goes off and makes some friends and Pete falls in to a state of depression. Pete wishes he could apologize to Sucker but he is afraid sucker might kill him.

Sucker Review

The story Sucker was decent but I have read better. I didn't really like the way the the main character acted or the conflict of the story. It was very bland.
